*Class A CDL Required
The 3rd Shift Transport Driver is responsible for driving a tractor-trailer truck to transfer frozen and refrigerated goods from our corporate headquarters in Norton, MA to any of our cross-dock locations throughout MA, RI, CT and VT.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Load/Offload truck with product and equipment.
- Shuttle product to remote depots and return to Norton as required
- Complete pick-ups and deliveries as necessary
- Interact professionally with coworkers/customers.
- Adhere to all professional appearance requirements (uniform, footwear, etc.).
- Effectively communicate order/customer issues with supervisor at time of delivery.
- Check vehicle for safety/maintenance issues prior to leaving the depot and throughout the day.
- Unload any returns and ensure the proper information on each return is communicated at time of settlement.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Driving experience required.
- Merchandising experience preferred.
Skills/Qualifications
- Class A CDL Required
- Ability to drive a tractor and 53’ trailer.
- Must be able to speak English.
- Must have valid driver’s license.
- Must have a clean driving record.
- Ability to professionally communicate with customers.

Physical Demands
- Ability to stand and sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to reach above head.
- Ability to climb, bend, kneel and crouch.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to push/pull up to 300 pounds.
- Ability to operate a manual pallet jack.
Work Environment
- Exposure to extreme cold.
